Through this role the applicant will be responsible for the Enterprise Architecture across all organization sections, including the existing architecture and continual integration of new technologies while ensuring security compliance, and standards. Reducing cost and complexity of the overall environment while aligning business requirements for continued delivery of business value and ROI.

Role responsibilities:

As a System Architects you will design, configure, operate, and perform maintenance on networking, applications, and computer systems — including hardware, software, web portals, internet and intranet connections, firewalls, servers, and security — that allow company infrastructures to function.

Additionally, this role is responsible for high-level solutions for business applications, systems, cloud integration, portfolio alignment, infrastructure, and the enterprise. Review current architecture, recommend methods for streamlining the enterprise for efficiency, modernization, security, new innovative technology integration and industry best practice; carefully weighing interdependencies to meet compliance and business objectives.

Position Qualifications

Master’s with at least 4 years specialized experience or B.A or B.S with at least 6 years specialized experience in related technology.
Experienced in topics such as complex networks, cloud technologies, cross-platform integration and large-scale, complex systems design and implementation.
A relevant certification, such as Office365, Power Platform, Data Science, Azure or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, is beneficial.
Proficient in various programming languages, operating systems, and database management systems. Experienced in cloud technologies and infrastructure, networking, security, and virtualization.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Business Analyst

Through this role the applicant will be expected to anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues, recommend process, product, or service improvements; solve unique and complex problems, lead a team. Identifies, elicits, documents, and communicates technology requirements based on the strategic plans and project arrays for the customer’s departments.

The applicant must become knowledgeable of both the business needs and the related information technologies and assist in addressing those needs.

Role responsibilities

As a business analyst you will use data analysis skills and expertise to help businesses grow and succeed by examining different aspects of the business's operations to identify areas for improvement.

You will perform feasibility analyses and risk management reviews on projects and initiatives to ensure they're realistic to accomplish given the resources, timeline and context and present requirements to project teams. In addition, you will:

Data Warehouse Analyst

Position Code: TIC-DWA

Modern IT Partners is hiring contract-based individuals for long-term contracts. Through this role the applicant will be responsible for transforming the existing Data Warehouse into a modern, standardized, efficient solution allowing data to be consumed at anytime from anywhere. This includes working with highly secure and integrated systems across the Federal Government to serve data for consumption across several platforms.

In addition, the applicant will be responsible for leveraging client data to help solve business challenges, add efficiencies to various operations, and develop analyses to expose growth opportunities. The applicant will also serve as a chief point of contact for complex analysis projects. This role works directly with the business, understanding what needs to be asked and the best way to provide information and define business metrics. You are responsible for the full development cycle from evaluating design, building functionalities and visualizations, UAT, and QA on the final deliverables.

Role responsibilities

Understand business needs across multiple tiers (e.g., executive, operations and logistics, business strategy, and program management)
Build deep knowledge of relevant internal and external data repositories.
Translate data into meaningful and insightful information for business users via appropriate tools.
Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, program management, product, and other departments to help answer questions and define KPIs.

2+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries.
Proficient in Python and Data Analysis

Understanding of data extraction mechanisms, data warehousing, and ETL concepts.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in data-related projects.

Running tests and assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities.

Cloud Security Analysis and Engineering Support

Position Code: TIC-CSAES

Modern IT Partners is hiring contract-based individuals for long-term contracts. Through this role the applicant will provide cloud security analysis and engineering services to implement, operate and maintain cloud security tools and processes. The applicant should also be able to identify, assess, and report cloud security vulnerabilities and risks on systems, cloud resources, and networks in accordance with Federal and Agency Laws, Directives, Policies, Procedures, and Standards.

Role responsibilities:

Provide general expertise on Cloud security (M365, AWS, Box, etc.) and CASB (Microsoft Defender for Cloud Applications)
Responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the company’s cloud security framework. Leveraging a deep understanding of cloud architecture, security protocols, and compliance standards, this role ensures the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data across our platform.
Actively monitor the customer’s security posture. Establish a security monitoring and alerting process that surfaces potential threats to relevant members of the team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advocate for security best practices and ensure secure software development life cycle integration.
Conduct regular security assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability scanning. Provide actionable feedback and ensure mitigation of identified vulnerabilities.
When required, be able to utilize DevSecOps tools and principles to automate security tasks and integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
Lead security incident detection, investigation, and resolution. Communicate to Stake holder's post-mortem and lessons learned.
Work closely with other teams to ensure cloud environments are compliant with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Recommend, implement, and manage security tools to help in threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and continuous monitoring.
Create and maintain robust documentation related to security policies, procedures, and best practices.

Position Qualifications

Applicant must have:

Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, or information technology, and at least four years of experience working as a cloud security analyst, cloud security engineer, or related role.
Experience with network segmentation, network access controls, network monitoring
Security+, CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, or relevant industry recognized cybersecurity certification preferred.
Experience managing or operating a Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solution preferred.
Experience in Zero-Trust methodology, implementation, and best practices preferred.
