They review current architecture, recommend methods for streamlining the enterprise for efficiency, modernization, security, new innovative technology integration and industry best practice.


Skills

          As an IT Subject Matter Expert your skills, knowledge, and experiences should encompass the following:

  • Experienced in topics such as complex networks, cloud technologies, cross-platform integration and large-scale, complex systems design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform: The ability to work with Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents is essential for transforming workflows, developing new applications, and automating processes using low-code/no-code solutions.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Proficiency in using Power BI to connect to various data sources, transform and visualize data, and share insights across the organization is crucial for analyzing and migrating data during the transformation process.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Regular communication and collaboration between development and business teams are essential to clarify and confirm requirements, ensuring that the completed solutions adhere to defined requirements. ​

Through this role the applicant will be responsible for providing expertise in Exchange, Microsoft 365 (M365), Cloud technologies, and Cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and securing our customer's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication, collaboration, and data protection. The candidate will be responsible for 

reviewing current architecture, recommend methods for streamlining the enterprise for efficiency, modernization, security, new innovative technology integration and industry best practice.

Through this role the applicant will be responsible for transforming the existing Data Warehouse into a modern, standardized, efficient solution allowing data to be consumed at anytime from anywhere. This includes working with highly secure and integrated systems across the Federal Government to serve data for consumption across several platforms.

In addition, the applicant will be responsible for leveraging client data to help solve business challenges, add efficiencies to various operations, and develop analyses to expose growth opportunities. The applicant will also serve as a chief point of contact for complex analysis projects. This role works directly with the business, understanding what needs to be asked and the best way to provide information and define business metrics. You are responsible for the full development cycle from evaluating design, building functionalities and visualizations, UAT, and QA on the final deliverables.

Through this role the applicant will provide cloud security analysis and engineering services to implement, operate and maintain cloud security tools and processes. The applicant should also be able to identify, assess, and report cloud security vulnerabilities and risks on systems, cloud resources, and networks in accordance with Federal and Agency Laws, Directives, Policies, Procedures, and Standards.


Role responsibilities:


  • Provide general expertise on Cloud security (M365, AWS, Box, etc.) and CASB (Microsoft Defender for Cloud Applications)
  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the company’s cloud security framework. Leveraging a deep understanding of cloud architecture, security protocols, and compliance standards, this role ensures the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data across our platform. 
  • Actively monitor the customer’s security posture. Establish a security monitoring and alerting process that surfaces potential threats to relevant members of the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advocate for security best practices and ensure secure software development life cycle integration.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability scanning. Provide actionable feedback and ensure mitigation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • When required, be able to utilize DevSecOps tools and principles to automate security tasks and integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines.

Applicant must have:

  • Experience with network segmentation, network access controls, network monitoring
  • Security+, CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, or relevant industry recognized cybersecurity certification preferred. 
  • Experience managing or operating a Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solution preferred.
  • Experience in Zero-Trust methodology, implementation, and best practices preferred.
