System Architect

 Modern IT Partners is hiring contract-based individuals for long-term contracts. Through this role the applicant will be responsible for the Enterprise Architecture across all organization sections, including the existing architecture and continual integration of new technologies while ensuring security compliance, and standards. Reducing cost and complexity of the overall environment while aligning business requirements for continued delivery of business value and ROI. 

Role responsibilities:

As a System Architects you will design, configure, operate, and perform maintenance on networking, applications, and computer systems — including hardware, software, web portals, internet and intranet connections, firewalls, servers, and security — that allow company infrastructures to function. 

Additionally, this role is responsible for high-level solutions for business applications, systems, cloud integration, portfolio alignment, infrastructure, and the enterprise. Review current architecture, recommend methods for streamlining the enterprise for efficiency, modernization, security, new innovative technology integration and industry best practice; carefully weighing interdependencies to meet compliance and business objectives.

Position Qualifications 

• Master’s with at least 4 years specialized experience or B.A or B.S with at least 6 years specialized experience in related technology. 
• Experienced in topics such as complex networks, cloud technologies, cross-platform integration and large-scale, complex systems design and implementation.
• A relevant certification, such as Office365, Power Platform, Data Science, Azure or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, is beneficial.
• Proficient in various programming languages, operating systems, and database management systems. Experienced in cloud technologies and infrastructure, networking, security, and virtualization.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to provide guidance and direction to team members.
• Strong understanding of business processes and objectives and be able to align IT systems with those objectives.

Compensation:

$90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year depending on experience and qualifications.
