Modern IT Partners is hiring contract-based individuals for long-term contracts. Through this role the applicant will be responsible for providing expertise in Exchange, Microsoft 365 (M365), Cloud technologies, and Cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and securing our customer's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication, collaboration, and data protection. The candidate will be responsible for
reviewing current architecture, recommend methods for streamlining the enterprise for efficiency, modernization, security, new innovative technology integration and industry best practice.
Skills
As an IT Subject Matter Expert your skills, knowledge, and experiences should encompass the following:
- Experienced in topics such as complex networks, cloud technologies, cross-platform integration and large-scale, complex systems design and implementation.
- Communication and Collaboration: Regular communication and collaboration between development and business teams are essential to clarify and confirm requirements, ensuring that the completed solutions adhere to defined requirements.
- Familiarity with cloud capabilities (Azure, M365, AWS): Need to leverage new cloud capabilities.
- Clearly communicate technical details to business and management staff
- Provide insight and recommendations on new and emerging technologies and concepts to customer's team members
- Eager to contribute to a team-oriented environment
- Able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Role Responsibilities:
As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and assisting with Strategic Integration and SME Services Across All Technical Operation services along with the following:
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange and M365 environments.
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect systems and data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Exchange, M365, and cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance IT operations.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in cloud and cybersecurity.
Position Qualifications
- Master’s with at least 4 years specialized experience or B.A or B.S with at least 6 years specialized experience in related technology.
- Experienced in topics such as complex networks, cloud technologies, cross-platform integration and large-scale, complex systems design and implementation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to provide guidance and direction to team members.
- Strong understanding of business processes and objectives and be able to align IT systems with those objectives.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Exchange and M365 administration.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- Expertise in cybersecurity principles, tools, and frameworks.
- Relevant certifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Compensation:
$90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year depending on experience and qualifications.
