Modern IT Partners is hiring an experienced ECM Platform + AI Architect to design, integrate, and operationalize AI‑driven solutions across government department. This hybrid role combines enterprise AI architecture with deep ServiceNow Platform expertise, enabling agencies to modernize services, automate workflows, and implement responsible AI at scale.
You will architect solutions that are secure, compliant, auditable, and aligned with statutory requirements, while ensuring seamless integration with existing systems such as SharePoint, Dataverse, ServiceNow, ERP, permitting platforms, and case management systems.
Role Responsibilities:
As an enterprise developer, you will be responsible for understanding the current structure or the application, the database servers, and the system components in order to assist in supporting, maintaining, optimizing, and modernizing the current systems. Your areas of responsibility
AI Architecture & Strategy
- Define the agency’s AI architecture, including model selection, data flows, retrieval pipelines, and security boundaries
- Develop AI roadmaps aligned with state and federal mandates (NIST, CJIS, IRS 1075, HIPAA, FedRAMP, etc.)
- Establish reusable AI components, prompt patterns, and governance frameworks for multi‑department use
Power Platform Architecture
- Architect scalable solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and custom connectors
- Implement AI‑enhanced workflows using Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform AI Builder
- Design Dataverse schemas, role‑based security, and audit‑ready data models
Integration & Automation
- Integrate AI with SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, ServiceNow, ERP, permitting systems, and legacy applications
- Build end‑to‑end workflows that combine AI reasoning with automation, human approvals, and compliance checks
Ensure all AI and Power Platform interactions are logged, traceable, and ready for audit or public records requests
Governance, Compliance & Risk
- Implement responsible AI controls including data privacy, bias mitigation, audit logging, and human‑in‑the‑loop review
- Ensure solutions comply with state IT policies, public records laws, retention schedules, and accessibility standards
- Partner with legal, procurement, and security teams to evaluate AI vendors, contracts, and risk posture
Data & Model Operations
- Define data ingestion, classification, and governance requirements for AI and Power Platform workloads
- Implement retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), vector stores, and secure data pipelines
- Oversee model lifecycle management, including evaluation, versioning, and compliance documentation
Cross‑Agency Collaboration & Enablement
- Work with department leaders to identify high‑value AI + automation use cases
- Translate policy and operational needs into technical designs and solution architectures
- Train staff on AI best practices, Power Platform governance, and responsible use
Position Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years in Power Platform architecture, enterprise automation, or cloud solution design
- Hands‑on experience with Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, or similar AI platforms
- Strong understanding of Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and enterprise integration patterns
- Experience delivering solutions in public‑sector or regulated environments
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks, data‑classification policies, and government security standards
- Ability to design systems that are secure, scalable, and fully auditable
Preferred
- Experience with CJIS, IRS 1075, HIPAA, or state‑specific compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with MLOps, DevOps, CI/CD, and model lifecycle management
- Background in SLED procurement, vendor evaluation, or contract compliance
- Certifications in Azure, Power Platform, AI engineering, or enterprise architecture
Compensation:
$90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year depending on experience and qualifications.
