     Modern IT Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Endpoint Validation & Desktop Engineering Specialist for long term contract work supporting enterprise endpoint management initiatives by executing structured validation and testing activities within a dedicated endpoint test environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft endpoint management technologies, operating system deployment validation, application compatibility testing, and documentation of test execution results.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring that operating system updates, application deployments, security configurations, and endpoint management solutions function reliably across a diverse enterprise environment before production release.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute structured testing and validation activities for endpoint management solutions, operating system updates, software deployments, and configuration changes.
• Validate Microsoft Windows operating system deployments and upgrades within controlled test environments.
• Perform application compatibility testing and document findings, issues, and remediation recommendations.
• Test and validate deployments managed through:

                    o Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)

                    o Microsoft Intune

                    o Group Policy (GPO)

• Validate endpoint functionality across multiple:

                    o Hardware platforms

                    o Authentication methods

                    o Network configurations

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and validation procedures.
• Document test execution results, defects, risks, and recommendations in accordance with organizational standards.
• Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate testing, data collection, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with desktop engineering, infrastructure, security, and application teams to troubleshoot deployment and compatibility issues.
• Assist with pilot testing initiatives and provide feedback on deployment readiness.
• Support continuous improvement of testing methodologies, documentation standards, and validation processes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting one or more of the following:

                    o Enterprise Endpoint Management

                    o Desktop Engineering

                    o Software Deployment Testing

                    o Operating System Validation

• Strong experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments.
• Hands-on experience with:

                    o Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)

                    o Microsoft Intune

                    o Group Policy (GPO)

                    o PowerShell scripting

                    o Application compatibility testing

                    o Test execution and documentation

• Experience creating and maintaining detailed test plans, test scripts, and validation documentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within technical project teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience validating deployments across:

                    o Multiple hardware platforms

                    o Various authentication methods

                    o Diverse network configurations

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale desktop modernization, migration, or endpoint management projects.
• Familiarity with endpoint security controls and device compliance policies.
• Experience working in regulated or highly controlled enterprise environments.

Certifications

The successful candidate will consistently deliver high-quality validation results, identify deployment risks before production rollout, maintain accurate testing documentation, and help ensure enterprise endpoint solutions are deployed securely, reliably, and efficiently across the organization.

Compensation:

        $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year depending on experience and qualifications.
