    Modern IT Partners is hiring contract-based individuals for long-term contracts. Through this role the applicant will be responsible for providing high-level solutions for business applications, systems, cloud integration, portfolio alignment, infrastructure, and enterprise. They review current architecture, recommend methods for streamlining the enterprise for efficiency, modernization, security, new innovative technology integration and industry best practice.

Skills

As an IT SME III, your skills, knowledge, and experience should encompass a substantial hands-On experience with the following:

• Air-gapped or highly segmented environments.
• Nutanix clusters, Prism Element, and Prism Central.
• Nutanix Frame or comparable VDI technology.
• Fortinet firewalls and infrastructure.
• Cisco switching, routing, WLAN/LAN, VPN, DNS, and DHCP.
• Active Directory, Group Policy, security groups, and account administration.
• PKI and certificate services.
• Okta, Entra ID, MFA, and identity-system integration.
• AWS, Google Workspace, and cloud integrations.
• Server and client infrastructure.
• Vulnerability remediation and cybersecurity-tool integration.
• Federal security requirements such as NIST, FISMA, DISA STIGs, IRS IRM, or comparable controls.
• Change management, testing, rollback, and production validation.
• Network assessments, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, SOPs, and technical documentation.

Role Responsibilities

As an IT Subject Matter Expert, you will be responsible for overseeing and assisting with Strategic Integration and SME Services Across All Technical Operation services such as remote and in office network capabilities, application, and server administration, enterprise computing center management, and core smartphone and workstation management. 

Position Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant IT experience.

Compensation

$90,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year depending on experience and qualifications.
